And sometimes Tizita is mad even if she's getting what she wants but it's taking us a while to make it or get it to her. Geesh! Sometimes it's so ridiculous it just makes us laugh and sometimes it's completely frustrating. But everything is good over all. It's been an amazing first month.
~AnnMarieThe Rudstromshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11176964803695998350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1137687745615211311.post-61031782535602033102012-05-08T05:43:20.203-07:002012-05-08T05:43:20.203-07:00Home over a month?! I often say the first few months for us felt like an arranged marriage, haha! I KNEW we were brought together perfectly by God, but I felt so unsure at times...we were strangers! How quickly that faded though and how miraculously God gave us wisdom about our children. Before you know it, you'll feel like you've known them since birth! In your "spare" time;), something I found encouraging was the Empowered to Connect videos on their website. If you just go to their site, click on resources, and then videos...there's tons of amazing encouragement and advice! I'd just play them in the background while I did dishes, played with the kids, folded laundry, etc.Rebecca and Nate Erbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08906312257875977006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1137687745615211311.post-9335022532607484222012-05-07T08:30:44.317-07:002012-05-07T08:30:44.317-07:00It sounds like you and Brad are doing a wonderful ...It sounds like you and Brad are doing a wonderful job helping Ellie adjust to her new life. For some reason, I had the idea that the children would have been used to a little structure and discipline at Acacia Village, but Sarah said some of the same things about Iris having difficulty with being told "no." =)

I'm so glad that you're making use of all of the resources that you can during this time of transition. Ellie may not realize it now, but one day she will look back and see what an amazing gift God has given by choosing her for you and you for her! Keeping you all in my prayers!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1137687745615211311.post-39230890019524558812012-05-06T12:09:14.502-07:002012-05-06T12:09:14.502-07:00Loved reading your update.
