Light!

A few weeks ago, the girls and I were heading down the steps to play, and Faith looked up at the light switch and said, “Jesus!”  (it’s not out of character for her to blurt out random things -- she's 2 ya know - so I just agreed with her and turned on the light). 

Later that week, she did the same thing again as I was turning on the light.  Brad happened to be around the corner.  

He laughed and said, “you know why she’s saying that, don’t you?”

I said I had no idea.  He told the girls earlier in the week that, “Jesus is the light"  so now sometimes when we turn on the light when it’s dark, Faith will shout, “Jesus!”

I thought that was too cute not to share.  :)  Oh how these girls amaze me daily! 

I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. John 12:46

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."   John 8:12
